A career-related publication for, well, classical singers. This mag does tend to focus largely on the East Coast and on opera, but includes audition listings, an active online community, an annual convention, easy access to valuable advertisers and services, and a broad realm of influence.

They publish a monthly print edition, but also have extensive resources online: the web subscription is only $12 per year, and includes an email alert feature which allows you to receive email notification of their audition listings, according to your specified preferences.

The online resource linked with the weekly newspaper, BSW is the standard for theater news, casting and community. Print editions differ for the East and West coasts. Long the must-have (but expensive) annual print guide for networking within American classical music, the online resources are excellent and the monthly fee is much more manageable. Focused primarily on upper-crust orgs and stars, it's still of great value to anyone working professionally in the field.
