Description Performance Techniques Intensive (LA)

10/01/2011 10am - 5:30pm

Performance Techniques is the foundation of OperaWorks' performance classes. In this creative workshop, singers learn specific skills to focus the mind and body, how to "center" their energy on and off stage, and how to connect with the words and music. Common issues singers face are:

what to do with their arms in performance

how to be spontaneous on stage

how to eliminate "negative self-talk" while singing

Ms. Baltz may also address any physical, musical and mental 'blocks' that may stand in the way of giving committed, impassioned and courageous performances.

Instructor: ANN BALTZ

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 1, 2011

Workshop is limited to 8 participating singers. Every singer works in each session.
